How do you like the new design?

Before we launch I have a few quick questions:

1) New design: Love it, hate it, indifferent?
2) Why?
3) What improvements would you like to see on this site?

Your suggestions are helpful in making the Full Potential community all that it can be!

If I wasn't obligated towards the goal of this site, I would probably look at the page and simply click away from it. Also, the slogan is nice, but far too obvious as well. That's like saying -- Skyscraper "It's Tall!". I need to see something that isn't so superficial. I need something deeper like Full Potential "You Didn't Know". This raises my curiosity and makes me want to find out what "I didn't know". Plus, there is a lot of stuff on this website that I didn't know about prior to getting here.

The layout is sloppy and disorganized. I'm not an amazing designer, but if I'm doing something then I want to get my point across in an instant. The front page is bombarded with so many posts and videos, I'm not sure where I want to start. I would probably look into changing the setup of things. There should also be a place where people can chat (a chat room), but there should also be a daily limit on people's ability to enter it and there should be alerts to let people know when you intend on joining them in the chat room for live discussions. The limit is to keep people from wasting their time.; ▶ Reply to This

1) Design in your estimate is not representative of Full Potential. solution: You didn't specify what is.
2) The slogan obvious. Solution: need one more thoughtful.

Responses:
1) I'm collecting data to see what people might perceive as a design oriented towards FP.
2) This is good, I'll think about this.
3) I agree we need better daily structure - it's a little haphazard at the moment. For new members though I have made it easy to sign up with a clear call to action. For existing members - I'll be working on a daily structure that enables you to to get in, work on your life's six major areas and get out quickly if you choose. Whereas others might enjoy the experience of simply browsing the community. I will develop structure to suit both interests.

I appreciate the honest feedback and look forward to more from you and others.

I meant that the site's design has to be definitive and unique. It's like a mixture of Facebook/other social networking concepts and some decent designs from a decent website. However, if you're stressing that creativity is a major part of Full Potential, then this site should be blasted to hell with creative schismatics. It may be in due time, but this is what I meant by the site needs to reach its full potential too.

I actually told Mr. FP about this a few weeks ago.. :) so when you get online, people will have the chance to talk to you and other members right away.. discuss more about the topics being posted here and therefore creating a real community where people could exchange thoughts, ideas and opinion.. and create a friendship/ connection even if they don't see each other :) Hope we could have this before the official launch ;) keep up the good work! :); ▶ Reply to This

However, sometimes I would like to just blurt out an amazing perspective or truth I just found out without really having to start a discussion.
A quote, a phrase, a new perspective, and if someone finds the interest in discussing about it further they can tag the expression to a new discussion.
