Livin' the good life is not fancy trips, and expensive jewels, and high brow country clubs. Rather, livin' the good life is livin' the moment!

The Self-Reliance Shift

The purpose of my business is to assist folks in creating the life they imagine, which is usually very different from the one they see today. I have found that this imagined life seems less possible for more people these days as they struggle to find employment and meet the basic needs of everyday life. Unfortunately, I've also discovered that they are looking to improve their circumstances with the same thinking and the same actions that created them. We are living in a time of tremendous chang… Continue

Discovering a Simple Truth

I was reminded yesterday of how beautiful life truly is, even when “stuff” isn’t quite how we desire it to be. It was another sunny California morning, and I was out on a hike with a couple of Golden Retriever’s – Roxy & Boone.

My Ipod was playing a medley of familiar tunes in my ear as I threw the ball and… Continue

Creating the Space for Big Results

I used to have a 40-hour a week job with a paycheck and benefits. I earned more than the average income but lived in a very expensive city so more was usually going out than coming in. I found myself living the same lifestyle and creating virtually the same results year after year. I was not an unhappy person but I was bored by the predictability of my life. It was like with every passing year the possibility of my life shrank a bit. I knew that I had to do something different. So I did.

It was… Continue

Sharing What You Have

I was thinking about the hard times and struggles many folks are facing today and was reminded of a talk I attended a few months back. It was by Dr. Fred Luskin, who is world reknown for his incredible research and publications on the power of forgiveness, but on this particular day, he spoke about this idea of sharing what we have. As I look around our world today, I see the focus shifted so heavily on the lack that people are at a loss for hope and new possibility. By opening ourselves up and… Continue

Fear Is Who I Was Yesterday

Last night, I attended an intimate talk with four amazing people who all had one thing in common. They had all died. We’ve all heard the stories of the folks who have died and come back to tell about it. There’s a white light, a tunnel, a transition to spirit, a feeling of peace…these all seem to be common themes and more evidence that there is something beyond our physical form. But underneath these four individual stories was an equally powerful message. They no longer lived with a fear. I thi… Continue
